We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Greenwich starting in February.

Key Responsibilities
:
• Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH needs, helping them engage in lessons and manage their emotions effectively
• Assist teachers with managing student behaviour and ensuring students remain focused on their studies
• Support students in developing social and emotional skills, fostering positive relationships with peers and staff
• Collaborate with the SENCO and pastoral team to track student progress and implement tailored support strategies
• Contribute to the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment, encouraging respect, responsibility, and self-regulation
• Offer pastoral support and act as a mentor for students who need additional emotional or behavioural guidance
• Work closely with parents and carers to ensure consistent support between school and home
